I have the TL2010 and it has an extra tension...
I have the TL2010 and it has an extra tension knob to thread so 12 steps! I love the fact it is outside threading. Most all machines now are inside threading that leaves lint in the machine.

Magic Pins have silicone heads . They come in flat heads too. They are easy to grip and heat does not harm them. They have been on the market for a few years and most quilt shops have them.
